How we do it

At the grower level, Maviga enters into pre-production agreements, contracting with farmers the pulse variety and acreage prior to planting.

Maviga’s local field personnel then oversee the production cycle from seed to silo.

Maviga also buys ‘as grown’ material on the open market after harvest, as well as goods that have already been processed and bagged.

Custom processing of ‘as grown’ pulses is undertaken at a number of carefully chosen facilities throughout the major production areas.

Manual, mechanical and electronic processes are used to sort, select, size and clean the pulses and oilseeds to the highest standards.

The goods are then packed into Maviga or buyer branded reusable polypropylene bags before being shipped by container to Maviga customers around the world.
