RBS The Royal Bank of Scotland In partnership with our bankers, The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), we have furnished a group of Mali growers with mechanical cleaning machinery enabling them to process agricultural commodities and benefit locally from the resulting ‘added value’. RBS has provided an interest free unsecured loan for the purchase of the equipment. Maviga orchestrates the repayment of the loan through affordable deductions from commodity purchases whilst jointly underwriting any eventual loss, should it occur. Maviga hopes to replicate this ‘managed capital investment project’ in other poor parts of Africa.
